Guided Snorkel Tour: Beginner to Expert
Is your family looking for a snorkel tour that stands apart from the rest?
This tour is great for beginner’s and experienced a like. Our guides will accompany you out over Maui’s oldest reef system in Olowalu. There you will see a variety of corals and sea life including Honu, our Green Sea Turtles. The guides will find and educate you with creatures you can touch and interact with safely while still having sincere consideration for the animal’s well-being. With a strong background in marine biology, there is very little that we can’t point out and teach you about.
New to snorkeling?
Our guides pride themselves on being patient and thorough when working with guests who are new to snorkeling or are simply nervous in the water. They will stay by your side and even hold your hand as they show you around the reef. You will feel at ease learning in waste deep water rather than dropping overboard into 50 or 60 feet of water as you cling to a pool noodle. Being able to stand helps you overcome anxiety, fear and frustration with ease while we teach you a new and exciting skill.
Not a swimmer?
We provide fitted life vests from size small to XXL (Not the traditional one size fits all). They have under the leg straps so they stay in place and keep you buoyant in the water. Each vest is equipped with a whistle and pass Coast Guard standards. We intentionally purchased top quality masks made of soft silicone. This helps them feel comfortable and won’t leave indents on your face. Our snorkels have a purge valve and water stopper on the top so they are easier to clear and help prevent drinking seawater. The fins we provide are not the duck foot fins that are standard with every other company. They are longer free-dive style fins with hydro-vents. You will get better propulsion in the water with minimal effort. We also provide long sleeved rash guards and reef safe sunscreen for your protection.

You are not just another number! To our ohana your experience is paramount. We fully realize that you may only visit Maui once in your life. Moments like these are what memories are made of. As a small family owned and operated company, we hyper focus on the quality of your experience. We pride ourselves on the ability to recognize and foresee the needs and desires of our new ohana in the making and cater each tour to the individual. Because we love being able to spend time with you and your family while showing off the glory of our favorite reef, snorkeling is open-ended and you can stay and play as long as you like. After you return to shore, enjoy some fresh cut, locally grown pineapple for some flavor-popping refreshment.

When we snorkel, we are collectively looking for anything that does not belong on the reef, be it trash, fishing line, weights or nets. Over the years we have removed hundreds of pounds of materials that do not belong on the reef and are harmful to such a sacred place. With thanks to people like you, we are able to constantly patrol the reef we visit every day. We have made a huge impact in the amount of dangerous debris that gets left on our reef. While we still find new trash to remove regularly, there is far less now than when we started years ago. We are proud to know that we not only enrich your lives but that of our ocean friends too!
We do not go out in poor conditions.
While this is not always the case, sadly, the weather has a mind of it’s own. If the quality isn’t there, we may reach out to you and let you know that the day is not worth the effort and loss of your valuable vacation time. If you can, please try to book with us early in your trip in case we need to ask you to reschedule. We don’t want you to miss out on this activity, yet we also don’t want to take your money and time for a sub-par day. It breaks our hearts when we are forced to cancel a day, but it does happen. Our first option is to reschedule your trip and send you options of alternate free or inexpensive things to do with your newly found free time. If your schedule is packed and we can’t reschedule you, we provide a 100% refund. The same goes for all kayaking tours.
